Furthermore, the Kaiser Antelope Valley Specialty MOB in Lancaster, California, showcases Nichola’s expertise in crafting cutting-edge healthcare facilities. Breaking the mold from a legacy template design and take special consideration to its environmental surroundings. Kaiser Antelope Valley Specialty MOB

Providing expansive views of the mountains on the horizon, the large windows help create a biophilic design that incorporates nature into the built environment, which can prove crucial in healthcare facilities as it contributes directly to patient’s well-being. By designing for occupant comfort, biophilic healing elements of views to nature and natural light, energy efficiency, and water conservation, the 136,000-square-foot facility has achieved LEED Gold and is designed to achieve Net Zero Energy.

Scripps Cancer Center, John J. Hopkins

A $59 million state-of-the-art cancer center designed to serve patients throughout central and south San Diego County Patients at Prebys Cancer Center have access to leading-edge radiation therapy technology, including two TrueBeam linear accelerators, which deliver external beam radiation treatments with exceptional accuracy and speed. Additionally, the facility houses a 20-chair infusion center, where chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and other treatments will be delivered.
